The Great Cookie Bake Family Event

Gingerbread cookies with painted cones on a bokeh background. Christmas concept with selective focus

December 21, 4 pm - 5:30 pm - $38 (Virtual Event)

The holiday season conjures memories of warm kitchens, flour-dusted counters and tantalizing aromas. For Lisa, our instructor, it also means day-long, cookie-baking adventures rooted in the traditions of Swedish holiday Fika.

Join for a family-friendly virtual bake-along as she shares some of her favorite treats from the great cookie bakes of her childhood: Grandma's Filled Cookies with Raspberry Jam; Russian Tea Cakes; and Pepparkakor — a crispy, slightly spicy Scandinavian cutout cookie.

Vegetarian with dairy, eggs and gluten.

About the instructor: Lisa is a longtime baker and member of The Bread Bakers Guild of America, who has loved the kitchen for as long as she can remember. With a background in children’s education, and experience cooking and baking professionally, Lisa finds real delight helping people of all ages connect to food. Through her business, The Tiny Kitchen, she works to empower cooks young and old to use great ingredients and transform those ingredients into meals for the whole family.
