For 50 years, the National PTA’s Reflections program has helped students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.

Each year, hundreds of thousands of students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create and submit original works of art. Young artists at Clara Barton Elementary can get involved through submitting an original work of art in any of the six arts areas

Judging and Recognition
Entries are judged largely on interpretation of the theme, but creativity and skill are also considered. Judges are typically community volunteers who are experienced in the art categories they are judging. Entries are first judged at the local level and selected works are chosen to represent the PTA at each subsequent level.
