LWPTSA Council is hosting a two-part workshop, “The Journey to Becoming an Anti-Racist Family” with Kenesha Lewin, May 11 and 18 at 7:00PM. With a diversity-centered approach, Kenesha specializes in education training, community organizing, coaching, restorative practices, and racial justice consulting. Congratulations, Ashwini Suresh, the May PTSA Volunteer Spotlight! Ashwini was nominated for her contribution as Spelling Bee Co-Chair. She has also volunteered as a Parent Helper and a Hearing & Vision Screening volunteer. Outside of CBE, Ashwini enjoys cooking, reading, and teaching. She has a 1st grade student at CBE. CBE PTSA is grateful to have dedicated volunteers like Ashwini. Thank you, Ashwini, for making this year’s Spelling Bee A-W-E-S-O-M-E for students!

Announcing the Yearbook Cover Contest! Bobcats may submit a work of art that represents this year’s theme, “Together We Rise”. The winning collage, computer-generated image and graphics, drawing, painting or printing will be featured on the yearbook cover. The time to pounce is now. The submission deadline is Monday, May 10. Crunch numbers and sharpen math skills with fun, interactive games at this virtual math night event presented by Clara Barton PTSA in partnership with Mathnasium.

May for Math breaks students into groups of 8 for a 45-minute session to participate in hands-on math activities.
