Redmond High School will be hosting Harvest Fest on Tuesday, October 26, from 6PM to 8PM! All RHS elementary schools that feed into RHS are invited to this Fall/Halloween-themed event. Students will get to wear their spookiest costumes and participate in various activities hosted by RHS clubs, including cookie decorating, face paint, games, and more!
Admission is FREE but it would be great if you could bring “shelf-stable” or nonperishable food donations for RHS students in need.
Calling all Bobcat artists! Reflections is a National PTA arts recognition program where artists submit works of art with an artist’s statement to compete at the school, district, state and national levels. Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts.
The 2021 – 2022 theme is, “I Will Change the World By…”. All Clara Barton student entries are due Monday, November 1, 2021. We’re excited to see what the Bobcats create!

LWSD elementary school goal setting conferences will be held Oct 11, 12 & 14. October 11, 12, 14 dismissal is at 12:20PM. It is important to make sure you have an adjusted care schedule for your child on those dates.
- Monday (10/11): Half day for students, release at 12:20PM
- Tuesday (10/12): Half day for students, release at 12:20PM
- Wednesday (10/13): Normal Wednesday, release at 2:20PM
- Thursday (10/15): Half day for students, release at 12:20PM
- Friday (10/15): No school – Teacher LEAP Day
Clara Barton PTSA is excited to bring Passport Club, a geography enrichment program, FREE to students and families. The virtual program helps students learn the locations and pronunciations of the world’s countries. From there, students build an understanding of what goes on within the almost two hundred independent nations on our globe.
Registration is NOW open. Please register by October 6th 9pm.

The first PTSA General Membership meeting will be Thursday, October 7, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. via Teams here. Meetings include reports from Board Members and a parent education guest speaker or town meeting with a school or community leader. All are welcome to attend; however, voting on PTSA business is restricted to PTSA Members. Join or renew your membership this week.

The Math Challenge Program is designed to give all students, K through Grade 5, opportunities to sharpen their mathematical problem-solving skills. Clara Barton families have an avenue to be involved and enjoy math through fun, engaging math problems. It’s FREE. A new challenge will be released every other week starting September 24 and will continue through May.
Lake Washington School District (LWSD) will accept applications for Highly Capable programs from September 8 until 4:00 p.m. on October 1, 2021. Students must live in the Lake Washington School District to apply.
Please note: Parents of first-grade students attending LWSD schools should not apply during this application period. LWSD first-grade students are screened for Highly Capable Programs in their general education classrooms.

Yearbooks will be distributed to students through teachers and the school will contact the families of students no longer at Clara Barton to confirm a pick up from the office or shipping.
