About The Redmond School Break Food Box Program

The Program is a non-profit organization of volunteers from a collaborative ministry of local churches on Educational Hill. Working with school counselors in participating Redmond schools like Clara Barton, the Program provides boxes of supplemental food to families experiencing food insecurity. Volunteers shop in bulk for fresh produce and shelf-stable items, engage the community with special requests, fill Food Boxes with nutrient-rich items (and a treat or two, of course!) and deliver boxes to families. Food Box Distribution Day coordinates with school breaks when students don't have access to free/reduced lunches.
