Clara Barton Elementary
- School Start & End Times for 2023-24 - CBE starts at 9:20am and releases M, T, Th and F at 3:50pm. Early release at 2:20 on Wednesdays. Kindergarten usually releases approximately 10 minutes before the rest of the school.
- September 5th - 7th are Half Days of School - Family Connection Conferences and Kindergarten Staggered Start - We value and deeply appreciate relationships with our families in Lake Washington School District. Years of research* indicate that family-school engagement can result in positive outcomes for student academic achievement and social-emotional development. Therefore, we will be holding family connection conferences the first three days of the school year.
- Students in grades 1-5 will attend school for a half-day to accommodate individual Family Connection Conferences for all students the second half of the day
- Kindergarten students will not attend school the first three days of school in accordance with House Bill 1723 allowing for Family Connection Conferences which is a component of WaKIDS.
- Students in grades 1-5 will attend school for a half-day to accommodate individual Family Connection Conferences for all students the second half of the day

Lake Washington School District Resources
- Registration: Registration for all K-12 LWSD students is online.
- Free or Reduced-Price Student Meals - Visit the LWSD Meals site.
- Child Care Resources - The district offers extended day child care at some schools (including Bell) and works with their community partners, the YMCA and Boys & Girls Clubs of King County, to offer additional child care options. More info.
- Technology Support - Lake Washington School District is committed to providing technology support for students and families. More info
- Register to be a Volunteer All volunteers in the school must be approved at the district level. Fill out an application over the summer to be ready for fall.
